Why the Survey Approach?

Specifically, survey data. We're curious about how others view their own faith and the faith of others. We decided to delve into people's faith views by creating surveys and publishing the results. We present religious survey data about choices in religion, surveys about choices about religion, like how people picked their religion in the first place, and their views about other religions.

Why the Survey Approach?

Other religious surveys we've seen take a demographic approach with the questions they ask, like "are you a Christian? or "are you a Muslim?" We've decided to ask those types of questions, but go a few steps deeper to ponder how they came to be a Christian or Muslim, or Jew or Hindu.

Who are we?

"We" is me: My name is Fred Broussard, and in this case, I'm a seeker of Faith. I started life as a Catholic. I'm not sure if I'm baptized (my parents aren't around to ask). My spiritual journey began when I realized that I believed in Jesus but something was missing. In a way, these surveys and this website help me understand what was missing by documenting my journey and ensuring that I didn't miss anything.
